What is Gane Coverboard?
Gane Coverboard is a low-density machine bonded three-ply board made from 100% recycled paper. The board is constructed of three elements: the core, which accounts for 60% of the total caliper, and two outer layers, which make up the remaining 40% of the boards caliper (20% each)
Coverboard is exceptionally smooth. When using extremely thin or metallic cover materials, the surface imperfections of other boards can be evident on the finished product. Gane Coverboard offers a surface that will yield a smooth, consistent finished product.
Finally, Gane Coverboard is less dense than other boards, meaning that it is easier to cut and will not dull cutting knives as quickly.
